Fun & Games At The Perfect Place

WeatherReady Fest is about kids having fun while learning basic weather forecasting concepts. Kids will pretend they are thunderstorms dumping heavy rain on different kinds of ground using the Ward’s Flood Plain Model. They will splash their way to learning about rainfall measurements. They will get to play the Young Meteorologist Program game and learn how to protect you and your family from severe weather. Learn the difference between a weather watch and a weather warning.

There will be multiple vehicles from local emergency service agencies and local TV stations. There will also be celebrities on site, including Nick Walker, the “Weather Dude,” from The Weather Channel.

And the perfect place for this to be held is at the Saint Louis Science Center, where they put the element of fun into science! Admission is free for WeatherReady Fest, but you must order your free tickets online so you will be guaranteed to receive the 2018 Passport Booklet, and for your chance to win door prizes.

The National Weather Association Foundation WeatherReady Fest will take place in St. Louis at the Saint Louis Science Center, on Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 9:30 AM until 5:30 PM. Get your free tickets by clicking here.
